I’ve just got home from choir so it’s time for bed. The tractors are still trundling across the field, spreading muck in the dark. It’s been a smelly old day, even inside the house :-(

I escaped to the forest this afternoon. I’ve been noticing the new growth on the conifers and found out that it is edible so tried nibbling a few spruce tips. Quite a nice citrusy flavour - might be nice in a salad. The photo is of larch, with its startling new foliage.

Choir was good - we practised with the band tonight. Tickets are all sold out for our concert at Thornhill already :-)

Time for bed - work tomorrow!
