Hard not to notice...

...that no matter how many flowers you plant or random weeds spring up, you cannot hide the fact that your garage needs a good scrape and paint.

This neighbor's house is immaculate from the street side but like all the structures in the alley behind my street, his is largely ignored. Not a bad thing altogether because I find that a stroll down yields a treasure trove of textures, mystery plants and interesting, unidentifiable items slated for garbage or recycling.
