Crowd control

The ducklings are zooming around all over the lawn and pond.  They are coming quite close to us to be fed and are already tackling mealworms and duck food.

Sadly one of the ducklings drowned at some point last night - Martin and I were counting them from the bedroom window this morning as they raced around, hoping we'd got it wrong.  But Martin found and removed the little body from the pond. 

It's been warm and so I did some work in the garden.  Annoyingly the weather this long weekend is predicted to be wet, but I'm looking forward to enjoying watching the ducklings, and not much else...
