More sunny weather

It’s been sunny, but very windy today.
Today we were voting for our police commissioner. Friend J persuaded me to go and vote. The local population are so enthusiastic about this election that only 73 had turned up by the time we turned up at 1pm. It was quite hard to find out who was standing and what they were offering. If you wanted to find out about the candidates you had to look on the internet. Of the 3 people standing, 2 lived in Cumbria and one, the Tory, was from Bolton. I think he should be standing in Bolton, not Cumbria.
To work off my annoyance with all the money wasted by having a full blown election effort when only about 100 people turn up, I spent the rest of the afternoon clearing one of the beds in the garden.
Today’s blip shows the older lambs in the field with the Dales Way running through it. Up until now we have only had the males in this field.
