A good day at work, finally getting some things done. 

Today there are various elections in England for mayors, local councillors and other positions. Hence, the BBC says it can’t talk about politics in England until after the polls close at 10 pm. Coincidentally, this has cleared the way for wall-to-wall coverage of John Swinney saying he’ll stand for SNP leader and Kate Forbes saying she won’t. I dare say we’ll have a new First Minister by Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest.
