A field full of Dandelions

It's only been in the last couple of years that people have started to realise the benefit of Dandelions to pollinators, being one of the earlier plants to attract them, and give them much needed nutrients. Before that they were viewed as a weed and destroyed.

Today we were walking in the grounds of Lowther Castle, and as we returned along the road, passed this amazing field totally covered in Dandelions.
