Spectacular Light

The 1st May and what a beautiful day. I woke at 5am to the sun rising over the hills and the morning chorus of bird song. I laid in bed taking in the beauty of it all.

The day was spent inside in a meeting but a well designed building let the light and green surroundings flood in. What a difference it makes.

I arrived home in the evening and was glad to be safely in bed by the time a thunder and lightning storm arrived bringing heavy rain and some spectacular sights and sounds in the dark sky. What contrast to the day time!
