My cousin and his horse

Following on from my  post yesterday of my father on a horse this is another of myself perched in front of a cousin who lived quite near. Most of my cousins were about 15+ years older than me as my parents were the youngest in their families plus did not get married until they were in their late thirties( old for those days!) 
I think my mother must have taken this photo…hence part of the horses face is missing. 


We had a very dramatic thunderstorm in the night, lots of thunder and lightning. Today has been busy…lots of cleaning early and then to the allotment for three hours where the soil was easy to work after the rain. I planted runner beans, broccoli and sunflowers. Also did lots of strimming with my new strimmer which has an amazing battery life.

Then some paperwork and checking things for our next holiday.
We didn’t need to go to the Polling Station as a few years ago we set up a Postal Vote so have continued with this.
