Emperor Moth

Back blipping as my PC died and I had to save up for a new one

For many years I have been tempted to buy a lure for male Emperor moths but didn't as I thought it unlikely there would be any remotely near my garden so I didn't bother. However last year the County Moth Recorder told me he thought I would be able to lure male Emperor moths pretty much anywhere in Horsham, so I purchased one - and he was right!
I had the lure out 2 days and both days around 3.30 - 4pm 2 male Emperor Moths arrived.
I was delighted, they are absolutely stunning! as you can see.
