Water lily

The water lily we planted in our pond seems to have survived the winter and has put in an appearance.  We also planted one in a small tub of water but that hasn’t resurfaced.  Our neighbour has just messaged us with a picture of a newt which she spotted in her pond.  Mark thought he had seen one in our pond a couple of weeks ago and then decided it was a frog.  Maybe his first guess was correct.

Our next door neighbour kindly brought Mark back home from the hospital  this afternoon.
