Cold

Up and out to pick up Debs at just before 8am. It's her first Parkwalk.  She was a little tentative so I tried to explain how it all works and how encouraging everyone is, to make her feel at ease. We were first met by Elaine. That helped too. Michelle was run director today and we were given tabards for parkwalkers. Bumped in to Bro in law, Lee who was 'taking it easy' before his run around the Isle of White next week end. He's into endurance running! Debs enjoyed it and will be back even though it was cold and wet. We joined Michelle and Elaine at Morrisons for our usual afternoon tea, before collecting my chicken from meatline. I buy it as 5kg of breasts which I then bag up into 3 pieces each separating all the mimi fillets first. It does 10 meals for £34 and is not pumped full of water.
Dropped Debs off and went to pick MrK and FK up from the records office where they'd been for a morning of different speakers, Cathy being one, all about the US air force in Chelmsford ww2. Traffic was awful with road works, which is why I'd left early. I was just about to turn in, when FK rang...they'd walked home!! After a quick bite I took FK and a mate upto the football.
Got ready for tea out with friends and did all the pick ups before driving to Freeport for a mooch and food at The Real Greek. Conversations flowed easy and the food was amazing once more.
Home by 9pm and needed a hot water bottle in bed it's so cold.
