New book
I haven’t been reading much lately as I have wanted to finish and start new craft projects. I got this for my birthday and tried to get into it a few times but something else always came up. I have spent a few hours reading today and it now has my interest. It’s about setting up the Cadbury factory in Tasmania in 1921. It’s a novel but based on some facts. I have been on 2 tours of the factory and enjoyed the purchases made at the factory shop.
First up was a trip to the GP for routine stuff. Scripts, vaccinations and referrals for preventative tests. I have appointments all made for later in the month and June (goodness June already).
We then walked up to the (unattractive) pub I blipped the other day to book a table for Saturday when my siblings are coming for lunch. We stayed for our own lunch. They have changed it around inside and there is a separate dining room which will suit us well. There are historic pictures hanging in the pub, originally it was more attractive with wrought iron balconies.
