Didn’t sleep very well last night - had the ‘tickly skin’ problem that I get occasionally. I was hoping to finish D’s chair at upholstery this morning but it wasn't to be! It all went well until i was trying to sew the back. Its under a lot of tension so its difficult to keep the stitches hidden, and the thread kept breaking as i was tightening them . I was getting very frustrated with it so decided to finish 20 minutes early and leave it until next week
Had some lunch at home , read my book for a while and then did a couple of hours in the garden. When i came in I realised that a couple of decorative stones were on the hall floor (they live on the window sills going up the stairs) and there was a small piece of plaster taken out of the wall at the bottom of the stairs. It must have been the cats though they were doing a good job of looking very innocent!
