Friends & Earl Grey

Spotted these two ladies linking arms with each other.  My sister and I do it and have done since we were young.  I've done it with friends too but when I think about it I'm not sure how common it is.  Still, I think it is a nice thing to do.

Earl Grey is watching over them.  He was Prime Minister of England from 1830 to 1834.  He had 16 children including Eliza Courtney whose mother was Georgiana, The Duchess of Devonshire and whose story was told in the film The Duchess staring Keira Knightley.  He also gives his name to the famous tea.
