Sunshine

A sunny morning and yes it was even warm. I was up early for the first time  in weeks and had a walk before breakfast.

Later together we managed to park at Old Dungeon Ghyll National Trust Car Park - “It’s never not full”

a Cuckoo heard near Langdale campsite.

Oxendale was good for birds with Redstart in the same place as I saw one in July 2013, just through Stool Farm.

Numerous Wheatears in Oxendale, 2 heard in song.

I even wore sunglasses.

Evening now and the clouds are back but it has been a wonderful day
