Mom-To-Be

This is the nesting tree on our morning walk route that Fletch and I have been watching for several weeks. I hadn't seen the Pileated couple for a few days and figured that they decided to nest elsewhere. But then this morning, there she was! He was hammering on another tree in the same yard. I'm betting that she's sitting on eggs. I see him at our BarkButter feeders several times a day, so he's keeping her well fed. Good Boy! Watch this space! m
