What A Whopper.

I am referring to the size of the red pepper half I am having with lunch. The ‘chips’ are Sweet Potato which are my favourites.

Delicious as they were prepared and cooked by Pat.

This evening we attended a lecture given by David Annand, a Scottish Sculptor who lives in the village of Kilmany. His house and studio were designed by Yours Truly. I received a few compliments about the design yesterday.

We have ten sculpture works of David’s in our collection. David gave a very full account of his work including the Jim Clark Memorial Sculpture in Kilmany.

His work is listed in Wikipedia, but I am not giving a link as it seems to be the subject of some controversy. No doubt it will be resolved.

The extra of which there is no controversy is a historic information board about Gregory’s Meridian Line . James Gregory (1638-1675) was the first Regius Professor of Mathematics at the University of St Andrews.
