Playa del Arenal.

Took the dogs to the beach today, probably for the last time as it's barred to them from May1st. Unfortunately a lot of the sand had washed away in the recent storms, replacing it with a load of dead blue jellyfish. The sunbed-franchise owners had put out stacks of their wares ready to spread out once the season begins in a week, and a lot of optimistic sunbathers had helped themselves to them while they're free, hoping to catch a few rays as well as goosebumps - did I mention that despite the look of it, it was mighty chilly? Also extremely smelly. For both these reasons we kept the dogs on the boardwalk. A few intrepid souls like to sunbathe in the suits they were born in, and it would be unfortunate if Loki were tempted to sink his sharp puppy teeth into the treats on offer...
