Little devil

I was on the bored side so up the mountain I went. This coatimundi just drained a hummingbird feeder. It climbed up the pole, knocked it about and sucked it dry. This guy looks like he got the worst of a fight. One eye looks damaged and there’s a pretty big patch of fur missing on its back.

There wasn’t much going on. The biggest excitement was when neighbor to the right came running over to warn me about a big snake in the yard between us. She called the snake brigade but they wouldn’t come because that house is empty. We tried to figure out what kind it was but her description, other than it not being a rattlesnake, was sketchy.
