Padstow

Went to Padstow this morning to meet a university friend who I haven't seen for 40 years.
It was quite poignant as we had cheerfully arranged the meeting 2 weeks ago (as he was visiting Cornwall with his partner and some friends) but then last Monday he had a myocardial infarction while playing table tennis. Fortunately he was people who knew what to do and there was a defibrillator present and he woke up in Kings College Hospital, and left with a stent in his left coronary artery and a huge packet of drugs. Statistics show that only one in ten out of hospital MI survive, so he was very lucky.
After our catch-up I visited the hatchery to say hello to the technicians, then booked my van in for it's MOT and service.
Afternoon spent walking and training the dogs.
Still haven't done the housework I was going to do on Sunday lol heyho there's always tomorrow
