A day with Freya .

Freya has some books that she really enjoys , the current favourite is a tiny pixie book called Anna’s Goose . It was a favourite with her mother and uncles too, written in Swedish and lovingly translated by her Aunty Jan . Freya has had it read so many times that she now likes to read it aloud herself while I read a different book that she has chosen for me.
It’s been a long and lovely day , Arthur joined us for tea and my sister called in on her way to the Lake District, she lives in the midlands so we don’t see each other as much as we would like to.I love the fact , that despite the distance, the children recognise her .
I fell asleep on the settee soon after we got home after delivering the children to their parents hence the back blip .
