Chase Path

I went up with L to the stables today.  She wasn't riding but wanted to see her old ride, Meg.  It was the warmest day of the year, if still a little windy, so afterwards we went up onto the Chase for a walk around Brocton Coppice.

I'm still trying out my IR camera and a sunny day like this is ideal to make the most of the conditions.  This path is close to the quarry that is a conservation area, It's surrounded by the picket fence on the left, though it has seen better days and there are places where it is very easy for people to get in.  We got chatting to a local who said that in the autumn a lot of foragers go into the quarry to find fungi to eat.
