Walton Bridge and blue sky!

This morning I went for a long bike ride to Walton and back..nearly 25 miles. The first time I’ve ridden my ‘road’ bike for about 18 months . I am doing the RideLondon at the end of May with three friends so thought I’d better see if I’m up to it! We are only doing the 30 miler, not the 100 . So I think it will be not too strenuous.

Feeling a bit weary after that and then we had a text from our elderly next door neighbour saying he had fallen so we went to the rescue. He had his COVID jab this morning and I think has affected him, he also said he was cold although his house was very warm. 

It has been such a nice day weather wise let’s hope it continues but the weather forecast is not good.
