TTFN

This morning was our last walk on the green - for now anyway - at least the sun shone. Then late morning, bro came to take us for to the Vet for his final health check and appropriate export certificates before travelling. All the boxes ticked, we  then decided to have lunch at the Green Dragon (again).  Bro and I had the same meal as on Friday, and Rufus was as good as always. Not warm enough to sit in the beer garden - the weather this Spring has not made me want to stay in UK!!

Pet transport came at 16.00 and bless him - I suspect Rufus knew what was happening - but he went quietly enough. See you on Friday, sweetie. He has an easier journey back - sharing the van with just three cats. (Bro drolly noted that transporting cats to Istanbul is a bit 'coals to Newcastle'...)

Subsequent updates. They made the 19.00 ferry to Calais and I've had several WhatsApp msgs and photographs - he seems to be fine.
