Emu country

My orchestral leader mr Blackbird piped up at 4:48 this morning!
After some self applied physiotherapy, I strolled out on a different route across the Commons and encountered some beautiful birds song together with a booming honk from the above creature that thought I was a dingo?
Spotted several roe deer, one which continued barking as it disappeared through the woods.
L and I completed several kilometres of walk jog along the wild garlic lined Tarka trail, L impressed me with her determination and strength and duly rewarded us with a rather generous sized mocha at the puffing Billy accompanied by the most beautiful friendly Robin. (I’m still buzzing now as decaf is my more regular version :)) )
The rest of my day consisted of administrative tasks and some important telephone calls.
Thankful for surviving my bike-car incident.
Extremely grateful for special friendships.
