The boys...+ Asha!
It's been a full on day - my morning got cancelled last minute when we realised there was a bank account issue with the charity, and a very short window of time to get it sorted. So ducked out of my morning meeting and bussed it to San Antonio. I was very grateful to Tracy who collected me from the station and drove me round the bay as it was torrential rain and I had an extremely nauseous headache. Eventually got the bank stuff sorted, and Tracy went back to hers to get me Migraleve which has anti-sickness in it. I felt better after a while. Home in town and I saw Claire. Good to catch up on some things going on with her.
The kids got home, the uni lads got to ours too, as did James and Rich. Danny and the lads had their morning changed when a very stressed friend called asking for help with something - so their morning also changed shape!
So so good to see James and Rich before they flew home. I love these two.
The others all drove me back to San An for team meeting...good to get some stuff sorted with Gemma! Grateful to her for teaching me some new techy skills as well! The others all had a drink sheltering from the rain. Wonderfully it stopped about the time my meeting did...so we walked along Sunset Strip and enjoyed the dry weather. Asha went to a little gallery to spend some of her money on a piece of jellyfish art - she's delighted.
Home for tea with the uni lads...now for some chaplaincy reading!
Today I'm grateful for;
1) Tracy driving me round the bay and providing effective pain relief.
2) The boys being willing to change their morning to help out our friend.
3) The flat being full of people we love.
