Bluebird K7

Today was a bit damp so we went to the Lakeland Motor Museum near Backbarrow.  This is a full size replica of Campbell's K7 Bluebird. When attempting to reach a new water speed record on Coniston Water, it did a backward flip and Campbell was killed.  The wreckage of the original vehicle has recently been recovered and rebuilt and is on display at a museum at Coniston.
