Weed

Another one of those days that feels as though it's ended about 5 hours too soon.......I'm sure someone steals my hours!

Visit from L today who has just arrived back from Auckland.......lovely to have a good natter over a coffee about this and that.....sorry there was no home baking though.

Trip to get milk from the farm late in the afternoon then dropped in to see how the ponds are........I thought they looked terrible.......soooo much silt and what was once one big stream leading to the pond has become 2 small streams with an island in between.  I wonder if the next big rains will bring more silt to the island and eventually block the streams progress or whether the the rains will wash the island away?  I'm not holding my breath to find out....

One thing hasn't changed........lots of weeds on the banks of the pond, like this one...
