Spring carpet
After my blackbird saying good morning just after five I decided to have a slightly longer stroll this morning.
I decided to stop taking my painkillers, et cetera and find out what they were masking. I can’t admit to feeling comfortable but I feel that 10 weeks of filling my body with drugs (although necessary) is enough. I am experiencing a few slightly different aches and pains in areas where the drugs were masking. All is bearable.
Over 30 different species of birds 4 of which I had to use Merlin to make the decision for me, were heard or seen.
A garden warbler and tree creeper made my morning more special.
I bumped into A the otter spotter, I’d just missed two otters passing through.
L delivered her maiden sermon/presentation at a local church and it was extremely well received by the congregation.
I accompanied auntie to her chapel and we both struggled to hear the elderly preacher’s delivery.
L joined us for a roast chicken dinner which seemed to be enjoyed by all. A tidy up and other tasks before an early evening late afternoon service at the local school.
Some sensitive personal experiences of how goodness can spring from darker times.
A lovely catch up with my cycling buddy Ian, we both experienced cycle racing together in Southwest France, for a year back in 1982. So much to say that we decided to meet up when the weather gets better.
Have a good week, everyone .xx
