Starter

Need to lose a good ½ stone. So as a treat before I start diet tomorrow, we treated ourselves to Sunday Roasts at 'Cork & Lobster' (sister restaurant, and next to, Roots - which is probably the 'best' restaurant in Bournemouth area).

We usually prefer unpretentious, home style cooking. However we really enjoyed Roots when we went several years ago, so wanted to try Cork & Lobster.

Had a lovely meal. Mr B's rare beef was declared 10/10. My vegan roast never matches the real thing, but enjoyed. My beetroot starter was exquisite, with a light raspberry and pistachio dressing.

Had a good walk back to Southbourne shops, and then bus home.
