Mesnes Park Gates

We had a lovely stroll round the town centre park today, plenty of well planted flowerbeds, cut grass and the fountain in full flow!
The gates show one of the original features of the town (Charter granted 1246) - the Moot Hall, the main building on the market square where most business of the town was held.
