tulip time

The local mule deer love to eat tulip flowers just before they open. Most neighbors don't bother to plant tulip bulbs here anymore for that very reason. Well one brave soul gave it a go this year, and because we've had so much cold wet weather the deer have stayed hunkered down in the woods. More rain forecast for today, so maybe these red beauties will have a chance to bloom.
