Trolley Brollies

A very wet day….

From the coffee breakout area in the hotel I was watching the golfers congregating for the start of their rounds. I was amused by the sight of these four brollies heading out. Interestingly, just before they set off they had been approached by a chap in a buggy who was doing a lot of gesticulating (presumably for their benefit)…and they then proceeded onto the course bypassing the first tee…so I do wonder if part of the course was unplayable….a few other groups set off without playing from the first tee as well.

The bunker at the practice 'pitch and putt' green (just outside the window) was more of a pond than a sand trap..

I did manage a short walk around Staverton Village after lunch during a brief lull in the rain!!
