What a difference a day makes (to the weather)!

We're so glad we chose yesterday for our trip to the beach - the weather today has reverted to this year's "normal": it's raining again! (The weather forecast was quite right so it's a good idea we checked it yesterday.)

The raindrops on the sash windows seemed to sum up the weather, and I liked the images in the droplets of the trees in the garden opposite. After taking the photo I decided it would be fun to invert it so that it looks like the drops are defying gravity. And believe it or not I've not done a mono conversion - this is a colour photo!

(The forecast for the forthcoming week is a lot better so we're being optimistic and hope it's right.)
