Beautiful Porto

Today started with a Tuk Tuk tour of Porto our guide was great and gave us lots of information and good tips for other things to do in the city.

The tour finished down by the river so we went over the lower bridge to the opposite side which is called Gaia and this where all the port houses are. We had a boat trip included with our Tuk Tuk so we found our boat and had a lovely 50 minute tour along the river with monuments pointed out along the way.

After we got off the boat we spotted a place where you get a paddle with a glass of port and a cod fishcake so we stopped for a snack and they were delicious!

We then carried on walking around and went to a food market it had lots of lovely things to try, we ended up with a plate of different cheeses which were yummy!

Tonight we went a fado, it was recommended as the best Fado in Porto, we had a 3 course meal and then the fado singers and guitarists come out and play in between courses. Was a lovely evening!
