Today we drove down to beautiful Lanhydrock NT house. We have visited there several times before but a friend told me about a walk in their  extensive lands which we tried and loved it. The walk took us through beautiful woodland, carpeted with bluebells, then down to a river and finally back up their main entrance road. We then went to the house ,and around the fabulous kitchens. We didn’t do the main rooms this time but instead went to where they are doing lots of renovations. All of the furniture was on racks and covered to preserve it from the dust as they are renovating the ceiling in the long gallery. There is scaffolding up and visitors are allowed to go up and see the work close up which was amazing. I’ve put an extra up of that.
On our way home to stopped at Padstow to stretch our legs.
A long but thoroughly enjoyable day.
