Third/fourth of July dampness

In Connecticut to celebrate 4th of July, turns out fireworks and beach party begin on the 3rd. Swarms of people are one the beach, finely dressed in mainly red and blue...feeling awkwardly British. Just before this picture was taken the sky opened. There was a frantic rush about the beach as people tried to save their picnics. Us Scottish just kept walking along the beach, comparatively unfazed.
