Home from Home

A day of 2 halves- a coffee in Princes Street with daughter #1 and tea in my little bolt hole in Stromness. Two worlds colliding. IainatCreel met me at Kirkwall airport and transferred me seamlessly via the Kirkwall Coop to buy some essentials to keep body and soul together until tomorrow.

I have unpacked and am now sitting looking out of the window at a fairly lively sea. I’m hoping to swim tomorrow but am a little worried because my Covid jab on Thursday seems to have done mischief to the muscle in my left arm and moving it  is really painful. It wasn’t helped by lifting luggage in the airport . We’ll see how it feels tomorrow.
