Flooding Time

Temperature about +7. Sunny, but cold wind from the east.

I was out riding by moped, almost two hours. Didn't first know where to go, but Vanhakaupunki bay area was inviting... I knew all the snow has melted in there, very open sunny area, if the sun has been shining. Here and there on the way there still was huge piles of snow covered bt a thick layer of gravel and dirt. Those piles don't melt very soon because of the cover, not before the summer.

By the river there were people walking around, also some anglers already.   In Main picture there is the Vanhankaupunginkoski dam and by it one of the buildings of The Hydroelectric power plant museum. Water in the river was clearly flowing more strongly than usual and in some places it was flooding almost to the walkways as you see in Extra.

Summer seems slowly to get more near, but I'm satisfied with this.
