Blossom

Well, I braved it.. went outside to check on the garden. It is so cold (officially cold) that I could see my breath!!! For heaven's sake... when will it warm up!  The Apple blossom is spectacular I have to say and just hope it can produce a few apples this year.. we had almost none in the end last year.  I noticed yesterday that the wisteria blooms that are elongating are being stripped by very hungry pigeons.. almost none left!!  They must be hungry and I have already seen hatched egg remains from pigeons so there are young to feed with not much on the go for them..brrr!
Must make a hearty winter stew for supper to help us feel .. warm!

Just noticed last year was also an Apple Blossom kind of day! This year is the last of the fat buds as the rest is in full bloom...
