Walberswick Ferry
This ferry has been in the same family for 5 generations when our children were little it cost 3d now it’s £2 but great fun and saves around a 2 mile walk
It was raining hard first thing this morning and we needed some fuel and food so on the advice from a local couple we were talking to we went to Saxmundham we have never had a look around it before. As the rain had stopped we had a wander around then had a coffee before doing our shopping. A pleasant small town with a nice mix of shops.
We had a late ish lunch then late afternoon we went to Southwold Harbour, it is still a working harbour so always interesting to wander through and take some pictures
That’s about it for today
The wind has dropped so although no sun pleasant when the rain stopped
I took the extra last evening at Covehithe where there is a little thatched church within the ruins of a much older and larger one
