Public Transport

It's our last day in Lisbon before we take the Metro to the airport (cheap, clean and spacious).  We wandered the Alfama district again and came down the hill just as this old tram was passing the waiting "Tuk Tut" tourist traps.

We discovered after our short ride in one of the trams that it's a favourite place for pickpockets, particularly when crowded with tourists.  Apparently the thieves even dress as tourists to reduce their apparent threat.

I almost lost my wallet from a zipped back pocket yesterday.  I heard it drop and two girls behind me alerted me to the loss.  But I had just checked that pocket and the zip was fastened.  Curious . . .
