Jewels

Couldn't resist these "jewel" tulips when we were at the supermarket yesterday! The red ones are small, but the colour is amazingly intense.

Soul Choir this evening was interesting! A film crew from ITV Calendar News came along to film the choir as part of a piece on the forthcoming local elections. Apparently they'd been in Holmfirth all day asking people for their opinions, and they also asked a few choir members for theirs (thankfully not me). So, on my third time with the choir, I ended up at the front of the stage (short people were directed to the front; no option to hide at the back) at Picturedrome singing a song I'd never sung before. Eeeek! Though we did have time to practise a couple of times before they filmed. Very difficult to ignore a guy with a camera a short distance away...

Glad that there was still some light in the sky as I walked home afterwards. The street lights at the top of the hill are still not working.
