In the Rear View Mirror

I love the saying, "Don't look back, you're not going that way."  But I guess when more of your life is behind you than in front of you, it is natural to take the occasional peek back.  The car mirror advises us that "Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear."  Sometimes the past does seem so very far away but at other times as if it was just yesterday.  Well, the immediate future looks warm and sunny around here and that is something to look forward to after our recent past of horrible weather.  So, I'll keep my eye on the road ahead but take the occasional glance into the rear-view mirror.  Afterall, what's behind you brought you to where you are today.
