The River

I worked from home today – the first time in ages.  As ever though, I started my day with a walk.  It was a lovely morning and was nice to be out early. 
 
BB had his first exam today.  He said he wasn’t nervous, as it doesn’t matter!  I was already working by the time he headed off to school.  I must say that working in the office is definitely warmer than working from home!  In the office I sit at a desk near a radiator.  At home I freeze. 
I thought I would use the opportunity to catch up on my washing – but had no time to hang it out as my day turned into back to back meetings and calls.
 
BB returned from his exam.  He said it was terrible – and that they had all thought it was terrible.  I suggested he hang the washing out to take his mind of things!  He was reluctant, but he did in the end.  I had a rather late lunch and managed a brisk twenty minute walk in the sunshine – but it is still cold.  It was then time to get back to the urgent task  I was working on yesterday.  I did a wee bit more work, then logged off and went for a walk while TT made tea.   Later, I had to do some more work, which I need to review ion the morning.   I went to bed far too late.
 
It was very peaceful down by the river this morning. The water must be at the lowest level it has been for months.
