Can YOU tell the difference?

Look carefully!! Can you see a difference between these two objects? If you said, "The coffee cup on the right is smaller than the lens on the left" you would be correct!

My son got me the 70-200 f4.oL IS "coffee cup" on the right as a gift. I understand it is the same size as the real lens. I recently purchased the 70-200 f2.8L IS II on the left...it would appear there is a major difference in the two! (The lens takes MUCH better photos than the coffee cup!!)
