Active walking week: Above Grasmere to Alcock Tarn

A really pleasant day to be out walking - felt like Summer, and we had a wonderful mixture of cloud and sunny spells, giving superb tone to the landscape. Drove to Grasmere, and took the steepish walk up to Alcock Tarn, which was lovely in itself, but I did like this view over Grasmere on the way up.
