"These are a few of my favourite things"

It has been a very busy day again today. Worked overtime to get something out that was necessary for my boss, so by the time I got home Phoebe was desperate to get outside. Tried to watch Murray at Wimbledon but had to give up in frustration.

Didn't see anything worth sharing with you in the village, then noticed how the sunlight was streaming through the window. So here I share with you from my glass collection - the beautiful blue tall glass bottle is in fact an oil burner bought for me by my eldest son a few years ago for Christmas. It is very special because he no longer speaks to us!!

The pink 'gem' was given to me as a special gift from a very dear friend and the small pyramid was my first piece of fractured glass. They are all sitting on a Mother's Day card made for me by Adrian, my unique son who is now looked after for me. He has a unique way of colouring, making everything look like the aurora borealis, something he has always done, in between licking the end of the crayon or pen.

Feel quite nostalgic today, remembering happy and sad times but tomorrow is a new day and I always hope and look for something to make me smile.

I wish you all good health, especially for those suffering one way or another.
May the sun shine on you tomorrow and thank you for being part of my day.
