I should have been here...

Today I had planned a day in the garden, weeding and tidying, ready to open it to the public on Saturday. However, life overtook me and the day whizzed by. We are opening the garden, church and the ground floor of our 'house' conversion, for people to come and see partly the church interior and partly to see our restoration work here. We've been having open days (just one or two a year) for 5 years now, and it's so rewarding.
It feels a little like the build up to Christmas. Preparations building up to one day, long hours trying to get everything looking perfect all at the same time!
