Streams of Sunlight
I love evenings like this, when the sun gives shape to the land with long shadows, peeking behind clouds to send streaming rays where she will; patterns and colours changing as you shield your eyes.
You look across the vast scenery and see hilltops lit up and valleys in shadow, then movement like a searchlight and you know that on that hill, there are people looking at the same sun but seeing a different vista.
And that single particle of light from that unimaginably huge behemoth that has travelled 93 million miles in 8 minutes and has gently kissed your skin.
It just puts it all into perspective.
